What is "Free Delivery"
"Free Delivery" is included in your shed purchase within 100km of your nearest dealer.
Once you've purchased your portable building, our transportation division will reach out to you. If you have questions, concerns or would like to supply pictures of your yard, this is a great time to do so. "Free Delivery" includes 60 minutes for our team to get your building to where you want it in your yard. It's best to have your fences down, branches cut and cars moved out of the way to ensure a quick and simple delivery process. Once your portable building is placed, it will be levelled from the ground up to 16". If you wish to have cement pavers under the skids, please have them ready and in an accessible location. Once the building is finished levelling, the doors and windows will be checked to ensure they are still operating as they did when they left the manufacturing shop. Finally, you will be given your keys and asked to finish signing off on the delivery of your building, as well as paying any amount owing.
It is best to have plenty of clearance to get your portable building to where you want it to be placed. For instance, if you purchased a 10' wide building, you would need 12' of clearance to ensure it fits through the opening without damage to the eaves of your shed.
If you requested the skids to be removed when you purchased your building (custom orders only), please have 6' of clearance all around the spot where you want your portable building. While removing skids, does help the appearance of your shed, we do require adequate room to get them out from under your shed.
If you have decided to put cement pavers under the skids, please have them ready and closeby to where you would like your shed placed. If you're unsure where to purchase these or would like more info, please talk to one of our sales associates found on our "Contact Us" page.
If you would like to put down cement or gravel, please allow 1 week of setting time. On a medium size building, we recommend 6" of compacted gravel or 6"+ of cement. When making a pad, ensure the sidewalls are no more than 3" above the surrounding ground area, as our machines cannot climb onto higher pads safely and with minimal damages to the pads. It is a good rule of thumb, to make your pad 1' wider and longer then your portable building to ensure it has adequate drainage around it for the water from the eves.
